OUR JOURNEY
East Midlands Tutors was established in 2000, with face to face 1:1 teaching from our kitchen table and no advertising. This continued for 15 years over which we helped hundreds of students.
In 2015, we decided to take things to the next level and we built our very own fully equipped teaching room (Nanpantan Teaching Room) with its own interactive whiteboard.
Although the pandemic meant we could no longer use our teaching room, it opened new doors for us in terms of online teaching, and we discovered an online platform which fully records lessons, empowering our student even more.
ABOUT US
Here at East Midlands Tutors, we empower the student by using unique, tried and tested techniques.
Over the years, we have tutored hundreds of students and helped them reach their full potential whether that be studying medicine at the University of Cambridge, getting high enough GCSE grades to start an apprenticeship, or supporting students to study alongside their professional athlete commitments.
We teach students how to approach questions using structured thought processes, and we provide corresponding videos which students can use to consolidate techniques. Videos for GCSE and A level maths can be accessed here.
We also provide access to bespoke mindmaps and flowcharts which have been constructed to support topics that have been taught. Some of these resources can be accessed here.
